The LPKY 2012 Annual State Convention was called by our chairman, Eric Cranley. The convention will be held at the Best Western Atrium Gardens in Elizabethtown, KY on February 25th and 26th.
Our annual convention is where we do core the business of the state party and voting members are given the opportunity and are encouraged to directly participate in the direction of LPKY.
Things that may be done at the 2012 Convention:
- Review declared 2012 LPKY candidates and decide to approve or deny the Libertarian ballot line
- Elect permanant State Executive Committee Vice-Chair for the remainder of the term (currently filled by acting Vice-Chair Matthew Keefe)
- Elect State Executive Committee At-Large Representative (2 year term)
- Elect District Committee Officers (Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary, Treasurer - 2 year term)
- Elect any County Committees
- Elect delegates to National LP Convention (May 2nd-7th in Las Vegas, NV)
- Potentially amend the state party Constitution
- Approve or repeal any changes to the state party Constitution passed by the Executive Committee since the last convention
