FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

On October 19th, the Libertarian Party of Kentucky named Louisville resident Ronald Seiter as the State Executive Committee Vice-Chairman.

LPKY State Chairman Ken Moellman said, "Ron has been a great asset to the party and our cause in Louisville. He has been very active within multiple groups in Louisville and has helped grow our network of political allies."

Mr. Seiter has served as the Chairman of the Libertarian Party of Louisville since November 2008. Prior to that, he led the effort to create the Libertarian student group at the University of Louisville, and currently serves as its Treasurer. He was a founding member of the Louisville Grassroots TEA Party organization, and currently serves as the Treasurer for that organization. He is also a co-founder and the Vice President of the Young Americans for Liberty at the University of Louisville.

The Libertarian Party of Louisville plans to name a new Chairman later in the week.

Founded in 1971, the Libertarian Party is the country's third largest political party. The Libertarian Party promotes individual liberty and responsibility, translating to advocacy for smaller government, lower taxes, and social tolerance.
