Well, ok, it may be shocking to some people. It appears that a quarter of service-members' ballots are not being counted. This may seem to be an egregious violation of their rights, and it is, but this is hardly the first time their voices have been stifled while cowards and fair-weather patriots used their images for other ends.
Let's not forget to put credit for this where it belongs
, at the feet of the two parties that manipulate the troops on a daily basis. The Democrats claim to support them by wanting to end the wars, then they refuse to leave the current wars. The Republicans claim to support the troops by keeping the war going, but they hid the fact that the troops gave more money to Ron Paul than they did to John McCain...and Ron Paul promised to end the wars!
This current disenfranchisement of the troops is just the latest manipulation from the power duopoly. Power-mad politicians of both major parties simply use the troops as a rhetorical backdrop for their own plots. It's time to actually listen to the service members, instead of manipulating them for the political fortunes of the Republicrats.
