As you probably already know, Dr. Ron Paul was the Presidential Candidate for the Libertarian Party in 1988. As such, it should be no surprise that over 80% of the National LP membership supports Dr. Paul's current run. In Kentucky, approximately 95% of the LPKY membership supports Ron Paul.
While we support Dr. Paul's run, as he is currently the loudest and most effective voice for our cause, we also recognize that the freedom movement is more than one man.
It is essential, whatever the outcome of Dr. Paul's current campaign, that the cause of liberty continues forward. We must support Dr. Paul today. We must also support the cause of Liberty tomorrow.
Ron Paul has announced that he is focusing on his Congressional race. This ensures that regardless of the outcome, his voice will remain in Federal Government, fighting for our cause in the Halls of Congress.
The Libertarian Party of Kentucky promotes the ideals held by Dr. Paul throughout Kentucky. We support candidates at the local and state level, in addition to Federal offices. We are always seeking and supporting candidates for office at all levels to promote freedom and liberty.
The Libertarian Party has been a consistent voice for freedom for 37 years, and with your support will continue to be that voice for another 37 years and beyond.
